TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

Here is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. But inform how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
